Project created for a couple with three children inside the Chácara Santa Helena gated community in the Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood, São Paulo.
We sought to eliminate the house versus garden opposition: they are completely connected and permanently permeate each other.
Two open interior courtyards, two adjacent terraces on the second floor and a pergola create this condition of permanent immersion in the garden.
The side cladding made of five offset metal mesh panels provides adequate transparency and support for the greenery while also enhancing the inhabitants’ privacy and thermal comfort.
